A lucky lottery player from Baxter has won $2,045,590 in the Gopher 5 drawing held on June 26. The winning ticket was sold at Orton’s Baxter Holiday, located at 5610 Fairview Road, and earned the store a $5,000 bonus.
The winning numbers for the June 26 drawing were 16, 29, 35, 43, and 46.
To claim the prize, the winner must go to the Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. It's recommended that winners call ahead to check the office hours and schedule an appointment. Since September 1, 2021, the names and cities of lottery prize winners above $10,000 are kept private unless the winner opts for publicity.
