
School Bus With Students on Board Collides with Car in Southeast Minnesota
Caledonia, MN (KROC-AM News)- A school bus and car collided at a southeast Minnesota intersection Monday afternoon.

It happened around 4 p.m. just north of the Minnesota-Iowa border in Houston County. The driver of the car was the only occupant in that vehicle.
The State Patrol says there were students riding on the bus at the time of the crash.

One Injured in Car-School Bus Crash Near Minnesota-Iowa Border
The car-school bus collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 76 and Cabbage Ridge Dr., which is about eight miles south of Caledonia.
The bus was traveling west on Cabbage Ridge Dr. and the car was heading south on Hwy. 76 when the two vehicles collided in the intersection, according to the state crash report.
28-year-old Anna Michael Becker of Dorchester, IA was driving the car. She was brought to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Authorities identified the bus driver as 70-year-old Terry Paul Schuldt of Caledonia. Three students were riding on the bus at the time of the crash.
Schuldt and his passengers escaped the crash without injuries. The drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report says.
Caledonia Ambulance, Eitzen Fire and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash scene.
