Popular Halloween Express Is Now Open in Rochester, MN!
Excitement is building for Halloween and if you are on the hunt for the best costume ever, it looks like another Halloween store is now open in Rochester, Minnesota. Just the other day, the opening date for Spirit Halloween in Rochester was announced. And now, it appears that another Halloween store is ready for shoppers. Unfortunately, Google and the company website appear to have wrong information. Thank goodness you've got our free websites and apps to let you know about local news.

Is Halloween Express Opening in the Miracle Mile in Rochester, Minnesota This Year?
The last several years, we've all come to expect that Halloween Express would open at some point in August in the Miracle Mile. Last year, it was about August 15th when the announcement was made that they were now open.
I love telling you about new places that are opening so as soon as mid-August hit, I checked Google to see if Halloween Express was open and it said it was! I went to grab a photo but I can verify, 100%, that there is no Halloween Express in the Miracle Mile.
In fact, the company had zero stores listed for Minnesota.
It's a few months before Halloween. We've ALWAYS had a Halloween Express store since I remember. The whole thing just seems weird so I sent the following note to the company to see if I could get any answers on stores opening:
I work for Townsquare Media in Rochester, Minnesota and am working on a story about Halloween stores opening in Rochester this year. I didn't see any Minnesota locations on the store locator map. Will you be opening in Rochester this year?
They were kind enough to reply this week with a response:
Hello Jessica,

We would be happy to assist you, please check our store locator on our website to see all locations available.
If you have any questions, our Customer Service agents are available at 844-760-6691 Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm, Central.

You'd think, based on that response and zero Minnesota stores listed on their website that we would NOT have a Halloween Express store opening. If you think that, you are wrong. There is one open but not in the Miracle Mile spot.
New Location Announced for Halloween Express Store in Rochester, Minnesota
Just as I was thinking our town would be limited to one Halloween store, Spirit Halloween in the Apache Mall, I noticed a post on the Halloween Express Rochester MN Facebook page:
NEW LOCATION ! ! ! ! ! !
Now OPEN 11am - 6pm
7 days a week Mon- Sun
4540 Main St SE
Rochester MN
The problem with this post is that the address 4540 Main Street SE does not exist and it sent me to either Chatfield or Stewartville. Great towns, but I am looking for Rochester. And Google still says that Halloween Express is in the Miracle Mile. The company website still says there are zero locations in Minnesota.
I did send a note through Facebook to the company and although I haven't heard back from them, there is now a new post that says:

Next to Lowe's & Marcus Cinema
Adding the "e" helps. Long story short, drive to the area by Target South area if you want to shop at Halloween Express. Not sure if the company will update Google or their website, but now you know that YES, Halloween Express is open in Rochester. Just don't use Google to get there.
