Another JC Penney Store Has Closed in Minnesota
When one of the places where a core memory was created goes extinct, you can't help but feel sorrow. Unfortunately, a place that has been a go-to for everything from back-to-school outfits to home essentials, is about to become just another empty building. As the doors close for good, it’s hard not to feel a bit nostalgic.
According to a story published by FOX 9, the JC Penney store at 8201 Flying Cloud Drive in Eden Prairie, Minnesota will not be reopening. In April, the large retail store had to temporarily close due to a fire and significant water damage that occurred during firefighting efforts. Based on the latest statement from a company spokesperson, the JC Penney store at the Eden Prairie Center will not be reopening.
As of right now, the Eden Prairie store is still listed on the JC Penney website but does indicate that the store is closed every day.
