The second weekend of Minnesota Baseball Association State Amateur baseball provided more joy and some sadness,

The Waterville Indians dedicated the remainder of their season to fallen  teammate Shane Sellner who passed away of cardiac arrest June 10, 2024.  The 28 year old's wife, Amanda would deliver their second son just days later.

The dream for any team of course is to hoist the championship trophy, but the Indians were hoping to cement the Sellner story in the minds of a lot more people.
