In what could be a great opportunity to save some serious money, Target has announced their 2024 Deal Days will start next week, going head-to-head with Amazon's Prime Days.

More than two million items will be on sale at Amazon during their Prime Big Deal Days this coming Tuesday (10/8) and Wednesday (10/9). Amazon's first Prime Day was in 2015.

Not to be outdone, Target's 'Circle Days' will span seven days beginning this Sunday (10/6) -- getting a jump on Amazon by starting their sale one day earlier. Target also announced that their Halloween costumes will be buy one, get one at 50% off during their Circle Week.

Target executive vice president and chief guest experience officer Cara Sylvester says:

Our October Target Circle Week is our biggest sale of the fall and gives our members the best of Target, so they can stock up on everyday essentials while discovering new trends and inspiring some early holiday shopping.

Walmart's Holiday Deal Days run Tuesday, October 8th through Sunday, October 15th.Walmart promises unbeatable discounts on items in almost every category, from smart TVs and vacuums to fall fashion and toys, at its first holiday event of the season.

Not to be outdone, Best Buy will hold their 48-hour 'Flash Sale' on Tuesday 10/8 and Wednesday 10/9 -- promising top deals on TVs, gaming devices, laptops, monitors and more.

In a lot of ways it seems like the excitement and shopping frenzy that used to be Black Friday, now comes to us in early October when big retailers roll out their early holiday shopping specials.
