Despite being plagued by early-season injuries, the Minnesota Vikings are off to an impressive 2-0 start to the season. On Sunday, Justin Jefferson was added to the list of walking wounded.

Key injuries for the Vikings before the season even started included rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy, veteran tight end T.J. Hockenson, and wide receiver Jordan Addison. McCarthy is lost for the season. Hockenson is recovering from surgery last season and could return in the next few weeks. Addison is off again, on again.

U.S. Bank Stadium Falls Silent as Jefferson Goes Down

As exciting and explosive as that play was, Vikings fans held their breath late in the third quarter, when Jefferson remained down on the field with an apparent leg injury. Jefferson was eventually helped to his feet, making his way gingerly to the sidelines.

Jefferson missed seven games last season with a nagging hamstring injury.

After a visit to the sideline medical tent, Jefferson was seen making a slow walk to the locker room, not to return to the game.

Justin Jefferson's Diagnosis

Following the game Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell met with the media, indicating that Jefferson's injury didn't appear serious. Jefferson also met with reporters, saying it was just a thigh bruise.

On Monday afternoon O'Connell again confirmed that Jefferson suffered a thigh bruise during the 49ers game, and is day-to-day, hinting that Jefferson and fellow wide receiver Jordan Addison could both be ready to play in Sunday's matchup against the Houston Texans.

Most Visited State Parks In Minnesota: Is Your Favorite in the List?

Minnesota has 75 beautiful state parks. The parks have an average of 9,700,000 visitors each year. Interestingly enough, nearly 19% of park visitors come from other states and countries, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Now, my favorite State Park is Jay Cooke in Carlton, MN, but it did not break into the top 5.
