Two Dead, Three Hurt After Vehicle Drives into Patio at Minnesota Restaurant
St. Louis Park, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two people lost their lives and three others were injured after a vehicle drove into the patio of a restaurant in the Twin Cities.

The deadly incident happened on Sunday evening. Authorities say the driver is in custody.
Members of the St. Louis Park Police Department and other emergency responders were dispatched to the Park Tavern at 3401 Louisiana Ave. South around 8:00 Sunday evening on the report of a vehicle being driven into the restaurant’s exterior patio area.
A news release issued by St. Louis Park Police says surveillance footage shows the driver attempting to park at the business then driving onto the outside patio.
The names of the two people killed in the fatal incident have not been released. Authorities have also not yet identified the three people injured and their current medical conditions.
The driver, whose name has also not yet been released, was arrested on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide, the news release says. He is described as a male, police say.
St. Louis Park Police say the investigation into the deadly incident is ongoing. They’re asking anyone with information to call 952-924-2618.
