Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) - The third adult convicted of manslaughter in connection with the beating death of an elderly Austin man is headed to prison.

19-year-old Francisco Silva earlier admitted to a second-degree manslaughter charge in the case and on Thursday he was given a 41-month prison sentence. Silva, along with 19-year-old Nickalos Taylor and 22-year-old Tyrone Williams were accused of causing the death of 75-year-old David Hall while robbing him of marijuana and other property on October 13, 2021.

The criminal complaint alleges Taylor pushed the victim and caused him to fall against the bumper of a camper in his garage. Hall was found dead inside his home the following day by two people delivering meals. Family members later discovered that a gun and Hall's wallet were missing from the home.

An autopsy later determined Hall's death was due to multiple blunt force injuries and internal bleeding.

Taylor was sentenced last month to 69 months in prison, while Williams was earlier given a four-year prison sentence. A 12-year-old boy was also accused of being involved in Hall's death. The outcome of his case has not been made public because it was handled in juvenile court.
