STATEWIDE ALERT – Minnesota Teen Missing Since Late May

St. Cloud, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide missing person alert has been issued for a Minnesota teenager who has been missing since late May.

The alert issued by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says 17-year-old Shikita Katie Jones was reported as a runaway from the home of a relative in St. Cloud on May 25. Officials say she is believed to be with an unidentified adult male.

The alert also says she has been in communication with her family, but has refused to tell them where she is staying. The BCA says there was a possible sighting of Jones recently at a gas station in St. Cloud.

She is described as black, around 5-5, 150 pounds with gold colored hair and brown eyes. She also has a small birthmark on her left cheek and tattoos on her ankle and hip.

Anyone with information about her location is asked to contact the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200.
