Young Motorcyclist Taken to Hospital After Crash with SUV at Rochester Intersection
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young motorcyclist was taken to a hospital following a fiery crash with an SUV in Rochester on Wednesday.

First responders were dispatched to the crash around 7:40 p.m. A photo from the scene indicates the motorcycle had started on fire.
The motorcycle and SUV crashed at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and 36th Ave. Southeast near Eastwood Golf Course.
The State Patrol identified the motorcycle operator as 19-year-old Adam Nathan Rodriguez of Rochester.
He was taken from the scene to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
40-year-old Katherine Ann Larson was driving the SUV. The Rochester woman escaped the crash without injuries.
The state crash report says the SUV was traveling south on 36th Ave. Southeast and the motorcycle was eastbound on Hwy. 14 when the vehicles collided in the intersection.
Rodriguez was wearing a helmet, Larson was buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report.
The Rochester Police Department, Mayo Clinic Ambulance and the Rochester Fire Department also responded to the SUV-motorcycle crash.
