
Juvenile Rescued from Lengthy Minnesota Standoff, Suspect in Custody
Le Sueur, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in southern Minnesota are reporting a successful end to a lengthy standoff involving a juvenile and adult male.

A news release issued by the Le Sueur Police Department indicates the standoff lasted for about nine hours.
Authorities said the scene had been secured shortly after midnight Sunday morning.

The situation began as a potential domestic situation in progress, the news release says.
Juvenile Retrieved, Suspect Arrested following 9-Hour Standoff in Le Sueur, MN
Police responded to the domestic call at a residential property in the 400 block of South Main St. in Le Sueur shortly before 3 p.m.
An adult male barricaded himself in the home with a juvenile as law enforcement responded to the report, police say.
Authorities were able to rescue the juvenile and arrest the adult male shortly before midnight Saturday, the news release says. Police did not say if any kind of force was used to bring an end to the standoff.
No injuries have been reported. The name of the adult involved in the standoff and age/gender of the juvenile have not been released.
