The victim told police she had walked outside of the building to talk to her sister then returned to the building when she was approached by a woman who asked if she had fought the victim a month ago then swung at the victim around 4:30 a.m. The victim said two women began hitting her then a man hit her in the face causing her to start bleeding, the charges say.

The three assailants then took the victim’s phone and wig and left the scene. Officers and the victim tracked her phone to an apartment in the 1500 block of 8 ½ St. southeast. Officers opened the door and saw the victim’s phone and wig inside of the apartment, according to the complaint.

Two women were in the apartment, one of which the victim identified as one of her attackers. One of the women in the apartment told police they found the wig and phone in the snow and returned the items to the victim at the apartment, the charges say.

Detectives conducted an investigation that involved follow-up interviews and identified the following four Rochester residents as being involved in the incident:

  • 24-year-old Shiana Jackson
  • 24-year-old Katera Cooper
  • 26-year-old Vianna Collins
  • 29-year-old  Keywan Johnson

The Rochester Police investigation concluded that Jackson had initiated the fight. Collins then joined the fight and Johnson then punched the victim in the head.
