Update: Fatal Car-Semi Crash Victim Identified as Minnesota Woman
St. Peter, MN (KROC-AM News)- There was a fatal crash in southern Minnesota on Thursday.

The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly before 4:00 Thursday afternoon. Each vehicle had one person in it.
The deadly collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 169 and Washington Ave. South in St. Peter.
A car traveling east through the intersection and a semi traveling south on Hwy. 169 collided, according to the state crash report.
74-year-old Mary Stephanie Palen of Apple Valley was identified as the driver of the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver is identified as a 34-year-old Timothy Allen Hauge of New Richland. He was not hurt.
Palen was wearing her seatbelt. It’s not known if alcohol was involved in the fatal crash, the State Patrol says.
