Fatal Crash reported on Highway 13 in Albert Lea
Update: Man Killed, Woman Severely Injured in Albert Lea Crash
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News) - At least one person was killed this afternoon in a traffic crash involving a semi-truck in Albert Lea.
The State Patrol says the semi-truck was traveling south on Highway 13 when it collided with an SUV that was traveling east on East Main Street. The deadly incident was reported around 2 PM.

An 84-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman from Albert Lea were in the SUV, while the truck was being driven by a 21-year-old man from Lamberton. Their names have not been released.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Freeborn County Sheriff's Office, Albert Lea Police and Fire Departments, and Mayo Clinic ambulance.
