St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Northfield woman who was riding in a car that collided with a fire truck in St. Paul has died from her injuries.

That’s according to an updated version of the State Patrol’s crash report released on Sunday night. The now deadly crash occurred Saturday evening in the state capital’s downtown. 

The State Patrol responded to the collision at the intersection of Cedar St. and 7th St. around 7:50 p.m.

Update: Northfield Woman Injured in Crash with St. Paul Fire Truck Pronounced Dead at Hospital

The state crash report says the fire truck was traveling south on Cedar St. and the car was heading west when the two vehicles collided in the intersection.

77-year-old Charles Edward Kyte was identified as the car driver. The passenger was identified as 76-year-old Dianne Susan Kyte. 

Dianne was taken to Regions Hospital following the crash and was pronounced dead, according to the state report. 

Charles suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene. The Kyte’s were bucked up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the State Patrol says.

39-year-old Nathan Mark Hurliman of St. Paul was driving the fire truck. He and the three other firefighters, who were responding to a call at the time of the crash, were not injured, according to the state report.
