
Crash With Semi on I-90 in Albert Lea Sends 69-Year-Old Austin Woman to the Hospital
Both the car and semi were traveling east when they collided
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News)- An Austin woman was hospitalized following a crash between a car and semi on Interstate 90 in southern Minnesota.

It happened shortly before 3:30 Tuesday afternoon. The drivers were the only people involved in the crash.

Austin Woman Injured in Crash With Semi on Interstate 90 in Albert Lea
The State Patrol responded to the crash about one mile west of the I-90/I-35 interchange in Albert Lea.
Both the car and semi were traveling east when they collided, according to the state crash report.
69-year-old Titian Elizabeth Butash was identified as the car driver. The Austin woman was taken to a hospital in Austin with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
33-year-old Spencer John Theis of Belle Plaine was driving the semi. He escaped the crash without injuries, according to the State Patrol.

Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report says.
Clarks Grove Fire and Rescue and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the car-semi crash.
