Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota woman was evaluated at St. Mary’s Hospital following a crash with a semi truck near a Rochester-area intersection.

Each vehicle had one occupant, the State Patrol says. First responders were dispatched to the crash shortly before 9:54 Thursday morning. 

The semi and pick-up collided at the intersection of Hwy. 30 and 44th Ave. Southwest near the Rochester Airport.

The semi was traveling south and the pick-up was heading east when the vehicles collided near the intersection.

75-year-old Sharon Lea Kenitz was driving the pick-up. The Hollandale woman escaped the collision without injuries, the state crash report says.

57-year-old Shawn Daniel Johnson of Gibbon, MN was identified as the truck driver. He was not hurt. 

Both of the drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state report. 

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the semi truck-pick-up collision.
