Crash at Southeast Minnesota Intersection Sends Driver & Passengers to Hospital
Elgin, MN (KROC-AM News)- Three people were taken to a hospital following a crash at a southeast Minnesota intersection on Sunday.

Three vehicles were involved in the Wabasha County crash. Two of the three people transported following the crash suffered injuries.
The State Patrol responded to the collision at the intersection of Hwy. 42 and County Rd. 25 on the northern edge of Elgin shortly after 4 p.m.
A pick-up traveling south on Hwy. 42, a westbound car on County Rd. 25 and an SUV heading east on County Rd. 25 collided in the intersection, according to the state crash report.
75-year-old Gay Jensen James of Lanesboro was driving the car. She and her two passengers, identified as 81-year-old Ann Marie Jensen of Minneapolis and 82-year-old Jon Howard Jensen of Minneapolis, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester following the collision.
James and Jon suffered non-life-threatening injuries while Ann escaped the crash unharmed.
The State Patrol identified the pick-up driver as 85-year-old Gary Francis Grebin. The Lanesboro man and the driver of the SUV, identified as 23-year-old Juan Carlos Cruz-Miranda of Plainview, were not hurt.
Alcohol was not involved in the crash and all five individuals were wearing the seatbelts, the state report says.
The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Plainview Police Department, Mayo Clinic Ambulance and Plainview Fire Department also responded to the crash.
