Three Vehicle Crash in Byron Sends Minnesota Woman to Hospital
Byron, MN (KROC-AM News)- A southern Minnesota woman was taken to a hospital following a multi-vehicle crash in western Olmsted County on Tuesday.

It happened in Byron shortly after 5 p.m. Three vehicles were involved.
The State Patrol responded to the crash at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and 10th Ave. Southeast.
A car, Ford SUV and Subaru SUV collided at the intersection as all three vehicles were traveling west, the state crash report says.
44-year-old Isabel Cristina Mendoza was driving the Ford SUV. The Owatonna woman was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
31-year-old Jissy Cyriac was driving the Subaru and 21-year-old Tyler Patrick Carpenter was identified as the car driver. The man and woman, who are both from Byron, escaped the three-vehicle crash without injuries.
Alcohol was not involved in the crash and all three drivers were buckled up, according to the crash report.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the three-vehicle collision.
