Early-Morning Fire Breaks Out on Deck of Rochester Home
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester firefighters responded to a deck fire early Thursday morning.

The fire report came less than 24 hours after crews responded to a fire at a home in southwest Rochester.
Firefighters found a man inside of the home and administered life-saving measures.

He was taken by ambulance to a hospital for further care. His name and current medical condition are not available.
Rochester Fire Department Fights Early-Morning Deck Fire in Northwest Rochester
Thursday morning’s fire was reported shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Bandel Court Northwest.
Responding crews found the deck on the back side of the home was on fire and approaching the home’s siding, a Rochester Fire Department news release says.
Firefighters searched the outside of the home during the firefight and found no one outside. Crews put out the fire before it could reach the inside of the house, according to the fire department .
No injuries were reported. Officials say the fire inflicted extensive damage to the residence’s deck and exterior siding.
The cause of the fire is not available. The Rochester Police Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the blaze.
