Thanks to the internet for this one. The town of Boy River, Minnesota didn't want to be a town a few years ago, but thanks to a few people voting to keep Boy River a city in Minnesota. The town, which at the time of the vote in 2018, had 5 registered voters of which 3 voted to keep the city, does have a bar, and it seems to be a favorite for those familiar with the tiny Minnesota town.

Jerry's Bar, located along Main Street in Boy River, has a 4.7 overall rating on Google guides and it seems to be the burgers that are being served that keep people in the Cass County area coming back for more. Here's what a few of the more recent reviews have to say:

Cheryl R wrote: Very good food! I had the patty melt and it was very delicious and the onion rings are nice and crispy and delicious. Jerry's burger was awesome!

Alyssa J wrote: Absolutely love this place! My fiancee and I drive 40 mins from home weekly (at least) to go here. Cheap food and drinks that are delicious!

Kevin K wrote: The prime rib sandwich was excellent. I had it three days in a row. Very friendly service.

Alexa L wrote: Wanda was so much fun, the bar was very accepting of our crazy group for our bachelorette party. Thank you Jerry’s for a surprisingly hilarious and fun night!

At one point you wouldn't just fuel up on food at Jerry's either it looked like there was a gas pump out front if you needed to fill up the gas tank too.

I'm not sure if there is still a feeling that the city of Boy River needs to exist as it currently sits but it's clear no matter what happens to 'Boy River' the folks will keep coming to Jerry's as long as they are pouring some drinks, and they have the Vikings on the TV Sunday afternoon.

Don't you just love small towns?

Have you ever been to Jerry's? Follow them on social media. (It seems like they are a big Vikings watch bar)
