If you are a fan of chicken wings, you won't want to miss out on this expanding Minnesota restaurant when it opens its doors in Rogers by next September. Ray J's, a Woodbury and NE Minneapolis institution will be opening up another location along Highway 101 in the near future.

Ray J's which has been serving up delicious food since 2006, at their Woodbury location, is a family business run by a team of brothers who have a family history of running restaurants.

Mark and Paul Jacob are the team behind Ray J's and after their father passed in 2020 they also took over his restaurant Schullers Tavern.

The new restaurant will be nestled along Highway 101 in Rogers and the brothers hope to "create the “ultimate sports bar” in the growing north metro suburb". The eatery is going to be located at the intersection of Highway 101 and 141st Ave. N, near where the new microbrewery Ripple Effect Brewing Co.

If history has anything to do with the brothers making the move to Rogers, it will be welcome news to developers. When Ray J's opened in Woodbury in 2006, and in NE Minneapolis in 2012, the areas were 'in progress' before exploding in growth the following years.

The announcement of Ray J's comes after the city has been aggressive in finding local and regional restaurants in town. Craft & Crew Hospitality will bring its St. Louis Park concept The Block Food + Drink to Rogers in the next few months.
