DESIGN THE NEW LIBRARY CARD!

Are you an artist? How would you like all of central Minnesota to see your artwork on library cards?

ART DESIGN CONTEST

This is your chance. The Great River Regional Library is holding an Art Design Contest, and asking the community to submit their best designs to be printed as the new library cards.

CATEGORIES

There will be three winners:

Youth: 0-12
Teen: 13-19
Adult: 20 and older

WHO CAN SUBMIT THEIR ARTWORK?

Anyone who lives in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, and Wright Counties can participate in the contest. The artwork can really be creative with any medium you choose. Perhaps you love markers. Maybe you're a chalk baby! Maybe you actually create art with magazine and newspaper clippings. Whatever your fancy, Submit your artwork and communicate the message through your art, "Why do you love your library?"

The three winners will be notified by phone. The deadline to turn in your artwork is June 30th, 2024. No late submissions will be accepted, so get started on that artwork today to be considered for the competition. Winners will be notified in early July.

DETAILS

Each person entering the contest may only enter one time. Your artwork will be judged on creativity, design, and as we mentioned before, "Why you love your library."

The winning designs will be posted online at griver.org and on social media.

Digital forms with design may be submitted as a hard copy in person at your local Great River Regional Library location. You can also email your designs to: communications@grrl.lib.mn.us.
