Miss Patti Page was born November 8, 1927 in Oklahoma.  Patti is probably best known for her blockbuster hit from 1951 "Tennessee Waltz".  North Carolina in 1977 was the place and year for the birth of Bucky Covington.

"On the Road Again" by Willie Nelson was #1 on the Billboard Country Singles chart in 1980.  That same spot was taken in 1996 by "Did I Shave My Legs For This" by Deana Carter, and in 2003 by Keith Urban and "Who Wouldn't Want To Be Me" - all great songs!
