Country Music History November 24

Happy Tuesday!  One day closer to Thanksgiving and a long weekend.  Hope you have a day planned to spend with family and friends.

Today, November 24, the Billboard charts revealed in 2001 Toby Keith in the #1 position with "I Wanna Talk About Me".  "Come Next Monday" by K.T. Oslin was #1 in 1990, and a truly wonderful song, "The Most Beautiful Girl" by Charlie Rich in 1973.

Nothing get me in the holiday mood quite like a great Christmas song.  And a fun one to get my toes a-tappin' is "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree", which was recorded by Miss Brenda Lee and released by Decca Records in 1958.
