Country Music History December 11
Little Miss Dynamite, Brenda Lee, was born December 11, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia. Brenda recorded one of my favorite Christmas-season songs, "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree".
Following his father's footsteps, Hank Williams, Jr., had his first recording session at the young age of 14 in 1963. Williams recorded several of his father's songs including "Cold, Cold Heart".
And in 1999, "He Didn't Have To Be" becomes Brad Paisley's first #1 single on the Billboard charts.
