Did you know that Johnny Paycheck's "Take This Job and Shove It" was written by David Allan Coe?  The anthem of the hard-working class was recorded by Paycheck this date in 1977.

Also in 1977, Waylon Jennings and his secretary were arrested on charges of "conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine".

The beautiful Faith Hill in 2000 received her second gold single for "Breathe".
