KFIL is your home for Twins baseball all season long!  Tune in tonight at 6:30 for the Twins Vs Detroit.  Goooooo Twins!

Today in 1956, Frank Robinson, a rookie left-fielder for the Redlegs, hit a home run, his first of 586 lifetime homers.

1965, hanging from a gondola 200 feet above second base, Mets' announcer Lindsey Nelson broadcast the Mets-Astros game at the Astrodome.

And in 1988, losing 4-2 to the Twins, the Orioles set an AL record with 21 consecutive losses.  This broke a record shared previously by the A's in 1916 and 1943, and the Red Sox in 1906.
