Rochester Fire Department Rescues Adorable Ducklings
The Rochester Fire Department has been busy with rescues lately, but I'm pretty sure this is the cutest.
You may have noticed that we've got a bit of a duck and geese situation going on in Rochester. This time of the year, they are so cute because there are so many babies walking around with their mommas. It is just adorable and you can see a lot of these little ones at Silver Lake.
Life in the big city for these babies can be tough though because our big town has a lot of obstacles. A group of ducklings discovered that recently and thankfully, the Rochester Fire Department was able to save the day for these babies.
Duck Company 12 was called to assist in getting some ducklings out of a storm drain in South Rochester. After some effort and outsmarting the fuzzy little babies (they are fast!!!), we reunited 13 ducklings with momma duck. She was quite impatient as she circled us while quacking....enjoy the photos and video! Be safe!
