After having emergency eye surgery before a Thursday night game against Dallas, Coach Zimmer returned to the sideline to coach the Vikings Sunday afternoon. The return was favorable-a number of big plays on both sides of the ball and a Vikings win. The defensive-minded head coach saw his defense sack Blake Bortles 4 times in the game, with Everson Griffen responsible for half of them. MInnesota native and Maverick alum Adam Thielen led Vikings receivers with 101 yards on 4 receptions in the 25-16 win.

The Vikings play the 6-7 Colts next Sunday before games against the Packers then Bears to end the season. The Vikings sit at 7-6.
