If you are like me, you enjoy a high-quality burger. I won't drive anywhere for a good burger, but I am pretty close to it.

Sometimes, the best thing to do is to get in the car and drive two hours for a fantastic burger. Well, according to THIS post from Chow Hound, that is how far you would have to travel for the best burger in Minnesota. It might be worth it, too!

The Jucy Lucy at Matt's Bar in Minneapolis was named the "The Best Burger in Minnesota." I do have to say, the Juicy Lucy is the best burger in Minnesota. I honestly do not even care what restaurant is serving it, I'll order a Juicy Lucy about anywhere.

So, why Matt's Bar? Well, Matt's Bar is credited for creating this masterpiece of a burger. Here is what Chow Hound had to say about the burger:

"The invention of the 'jucy lucy' (and yes, that misspelling is intentional) is a hotly contested topic in Minnesota. Matt’s Bar isn’t the oldest establishment claiming credit, but they maintain it first appeared within their walls. A Jucy Lucy’s signature is the cheese inside the patty, creating a whole new textural sensation."

THE CHEESE IN INSIDE THE BURGER. Yes, i needed to write that in all caps. If you have never had a Jucy Lucy I highly recommend it. They are fantastic! It is my favorite burger, and I frankly don't care where it is made.
