It has been an incredible season for the Minnesota Vikings, as they have powered their way to a 10-2 record and have won eight straight games. This includes the Vikings latest 14-9 win in Atlanta against the Falcons.

Even after all of the injures that the Vikings have had. Dalvin Cook and Sam Bradford were expected to lead the Vikings offense this season, but instead it has been the Case Keenum and Adam Thielen show. Every week the Vikings seem to find a way. Whether they have to score 30 points (in Washington and Detroit) or grind out a victory (in Atlanta), the Vikings seem to be able to do whatever it takes.

When the offense is not at its best, the defense has stepped up, and when the defense is playing a little suspect, the Vikings offense has been in cruise control. That makes them a great team, and a serious threat in the NFC.

The Vikings need to win one more game this season, and that will lock up the NFC North Crown, but the Vikings have their sights set much higher than that.

I remember when I looked up Vikings schedule to begin the season, I saw them as a 9-7 or 10-6 team that could make the playoffs. Yet, the way this team has been playing, it is getting hard to not expect much, much more.

I was not expecting this, but it has been a treat so far.
