Have you seen the upcoming forecast for this week? It just does not look like the middle of February.

According to Weatherology, temperatures are going to rise up to the high near 50 degrees by next Sunday! Whoa, what are we suppose to do with temperatures near 50 degrees? It's been since November that we have had temperatures that high.

The sun should be out for a majority of the days, too. So that brings us to the question. What can we do with the weather starting to cooperate?

This past weekend, I took a hike in the Stewartville area, and with the weather only getting nicer, we have to find more things to do outside! Especially since my list of outdoor activities is so short.

The snow is going to be mostly, if not entirely gone, by next weekend. So, what can we do?

1. Bike Ride

There are some beautiful trails here in Southeast Minnesota! Although they will probably be covered in melted snow (or as most people call it, water) they should be pretty cleared up for a nice bike ride! I do not encourage riding your bike on the street, but utilizing the trails is always a great idea! Who doesn't like a great bike ride to get get rid of that cabin fever? It is way better than running, too. Which makes it even better!

2. Open the Windows

Okay, maybe it is still a bit cool to open up the windows, but it might be worth it for just a little bit! I know I love to open the windows and breathe the fresh air once spring hits. Even if you can just open the curtains and experience the spring-like weather, you are in great shape!

3. Take a Walk

It seems a little obvious, but it is so true! When this time of year comes around, it makes people get the itch to go outside and just breathe in the fresh air! The best way to get the warmth and the fresh air is by taking a relaxing stroll outside. I'm not talking about a long hike up the mountain, but you can just take a short walk around the block or at the park! A great way to get re-energized!

What is your favorite activity to do outside once the weather warms up?
