UConn Women Win 100 Straight Games. What Are Minnesota Teams Doing?

This might be the craziest sports story I have ever heard. The UConn women just defeated South Carolina, who were ranked 6th in the nation, 66-55 to win their 100th straight game.

Yeah, 100 straight wins! Are you kidding me? That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard, or seen. They haven't lost in two years!

It is definitely one of the most incredible achievements ever. It doesn't matter what sport it is, this is flat out incredible.

It got me thinking, what are Minnesota teams doing?

Well, the Minnesota Vikings longest win streak is 12 games, while the Timberwolves longest streak is 11 games. The Twins won 17 straight games in 1961, when they were the Washington Senators, and 15 straight games in 1991. The Wild won 12 straight games this season, a franchise best.

Add all of those up and you know what you get? 67, and that is including the two Twins streaks.

A pretty unbelievable feat for the Huskies of UConn, and something we will never see again.
