Many southeast Minnesota counties are in a Tornado Watch until 11:00pm tonight including Fillmore, Houston, Winona, Mower, Wabasha, Olmsted and Dodge counties, according to the National Weather Service.

A Tornado went through a Wisconsin mobile home last night, and this marks the third night in a row that stormy weather has occurred in southeast Minnesota.

Severe thunderstorms are expected through the evening, but mostly before 8 p.m. There is also a risk for isolated tornado, damaging winds and large hail. Be alert and weather aware today and tonight as you are traveling. The storm looks to be fast moving, which will limit the possibility of a flash flood occurring.

Parts of western Wisconsin and north Iowa are included in the Tornado watch, so we know that this storm is very large.

Last night, heavy rain hit the area where locations saw 2-5 inches of rain, and parts of Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona counties were in a flash flood warning.
