Tornado Drill Day

April 13-17 is Minnesota Severe Weather Awareness Week.  Tune in to KFIL for important information concerning floods, heat waves, and thunderstorms, including public service announcements from Fillmore County Sheriff Tom Kaase.  Most importantly, Thursday April 16 is Tornado Drill Day.  Local county sirens and NOAA weather radios in Minnesota will sound a simulated tornado warning siren at 1:45 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. Thursday.  For more information or concerns about Tornado Drill Day, contact the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office at 507-765-3874.
