Today In Baseball History

The Twins are off today, but that doesn't mean we're goofing off here at the KFIL Studio!  Here's your baseball history for today!

1974   Mel Stottlemyre set an American League record by making his 272 consecutive start with no relief appearances.

1990   Nolan Ryan did it again,  pitching his sixth career no-hitter.  Ryan is the first to pitch a no-hitter for three different teams, and the first to pitch a no-hitter in three different decades.
