Good morning baseball fans!  Cheer for the Twins tonight as they meet Kansas City.  KFIL 103.1, 6:30 p.m. is the place to be for the action!

Not too much to write about today in baseball history, but here goes.

Jim Eisenreich retired from the major leagues in 1984 due to a nervous disorder.  July 2 1987, he made a come back to the majors, and hit a home run to lead the Royals to a 10-3 win over the Twins.

At 12:31 a.m. in 1963, Willie Mays hit a home run in the bottom of the 16th inning to end National League's longest game ended by a home run.
