Timberwolves Making Logo Change

It has been about 20 years since the Timberwolves have made a logo change, but they are starting to move in that direction now, according to a story on GO MN.

The Timberwolves, who have been terrible lately, have the look of becoming a contender in the near future, and it looks like they want to make a huge overhaul to help cultivate a new image.

The Wolves sent out a letter and a little bit of a preview to all of their season ticket holders, which you can check out HERE, thanks to GO MN.

The team is planning to unveil the new logo and jerseys in the spring at some point, in time for the 2017/18 season. Hopefully the new logo and jersey help the team play better, they need all the help they can get!

The Timberwolves logo has only changed three times, but the last true logo and color change came back in 1996, you can check that out HERE. From what I hear, the Wolves would love to have more lime green in their new logo and jersey design, something to watch out for as they release the new logo and jersey!
