For two days every summer, the tiny, friendly town of Viola, Minnesota turns into a hot bed of activity.  It's time for Viola Gopher Count Wednesday and Thursday June 14 and 15.  Viola really knows how to have fun!  Wednesday evening you can play a rousing game of Bingo, strut your stuff in the talent show or watch a free family movie in the park.  Don't sleep in or you'll miss the grand parade Thursday morning at ten.  Stick around all day for the soap box derby, kiddie parade, nail driving contest, kids pedal pull, 4-H cake walk and concert in the park with Thomas and the Shakes.  Fireworks at dusk!  The Gopher Count Committee suggests you bring your family, appetite and lawn chairs!  They're counting on you to come to Gopher Count in Viola!
