Last night, Cool 104 broadcasted the girl's basketball game between Fillmore Central and Grand Meadow. Both offenses had some struggles, unable to convert good looks throughout. The Falcons lead 17-15 at halftime. Great energy and intensity, just not many points! In the second half, Grand Meadow took much better care of the ball, and had the offense heating up. The Superlarks outscored the Falcons 19-6 to start the second stanza. The final score was 36-28, and the Superlarks grabbed their tenth win of the year.

The “Player of the Game” award for Fillmore Central went to their 'Energizer bunny' Kenzie Broadwater. The junior tied for a team-high 8 points along with sophomore Anna Jorgenson. She also had three steals and three assists. She anticipated very well defensively disrupting the Superlarks offense in the first half. The P-O-G for Grand Meadow was freshman guard Jordyn Glynn. She also tied for the team high (with Rio Landers) with 12 points. She had some great drives, cuts, and even passes to the basket during the game-changing run for GM. She finished with two assists and two steals with her dozen points.

The “Game Ball” was awarded to Rio Landers of Grand Meadow. The 6'2'' senior is always a threat in the paint on both ends of the court. Along with her twelve points, she used her long reach to grab a couple steals, block a shot, and make things very difficult for the Falcons to enter the ball into the post area.
