With the spring-like weather the last few days, I've watched the mountains of snow in my back yard melt, revealing piles of some interesting and some unidentifiable objects.

Camera in hand, I explored my yard, squishing through the puddles, dodging little heaps of I don't know what. Because I feed birds and other critters, I opt to let those little heaps remain unnamed. Here's what I found: a finch feeder. Empty corn cob; undoubtedly was a deer's dinner. Broken landscape light. My pretty little garden rock. A couple dead plants; I don't think there is hope they'll revive come summer. Orange remnants, another deer snack. A patch of bunny poop. And a dime..woo hoo! What did you find in your yard once the snow melted?
