The line of thunderstorms late Wednesday afternoon rolled through southeast Minnesota, dumping a ton of rain on us and doing other damage, as well.

I was broadcasting live in the parking lot at Apache Mall from 3-5 yesterday afternoon, and from my vantage point just off Highway 14, I pretty much watched the storm clouds gather, and then eventually open up a huge downpour on us.

On my drive back to the Quick Country 96.5 Worldwide Headquarters in downtown Rochester, I encountered several intersections that were beginning to flood, thanks to all that rain coming down so quickly.

In fact, the storm drain in the middle of the intersection at Sixth Street and Second Avenue Southwest (near the People's Food Co-Op) looked more like a fountain, as it had water waist-high spraying from it!

Luckily, nobody was hurt as the storms rolled though our area. Several Quick Country 96.5 listeners shared what the storm looked like... check out the pics!
