Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police have interviewed a man as a suspect in three recent incidents involving a woman and two teenagers.

The most recent incident happened Tuesday. A 16-year-old girl says a man grabbed her by the shoulders while she was out for a late night run. The man fled when the teen punched him. Capt John Sherwin says the man who was brought in for questioning is in his 60s and has been living in a wooded area in southwest Rochester, not far from Tuesday’s incident. The teen could not make a positive ID of the man. Sherwin says some DNA tests will be conducted to see if the man was involved in any of the incidents.

The other two incidents happened last week. In one case, a 17-year-old girl said she was hit from behind on the head, grabbed by the neck and thrown to the ground by a man who fled after attempting to pull her into some bushes. The second assault involved a 25-year-old woman who reported being punched on the head and grabbed by the neck by a man who fled when she fought back.
