We have great movie theatres here in town. Amazingly comfortable dream lounger recliners and Imax screens - we are spoiled. BUT, did you know that there are movie theatres that actually serve you? Am I THAT sheltered that I didn't know these places exist? Am I that lazy that I think this is the greatest movie going experience ever?

If you're like me, and you've never experienced the magic of one of these theatres, let me explain. You sit in your spot, pick what you want, and a waiter brings it to you. Tada! No, but seriously! The place we went had a-mazing food and drinks. Several beers on tap, many cocktail options, and a legit menu (not just nachos and hot dogs). When my sister-in-law first told me about the theatre, I pictured a server tripping over my feet. Nope, they have the theatre set up so they are never in your way of the movie or tripping over your stuff.

I didn't realize how many ciders I'd drink when someone was bringing them to me. Hey, don't judge me - I was on vacation. Now, if only they could figure out how to pause or take an intermission after you break the seal. ;)

The place we went was called the Alamo Drafthouse. After doing a little research, I found there is actually a location in Minnesota (woohoo). It's in Woodbury.
