Early in the Free Agency day, it looked like the Vikings might miss out on bolstering their offensive line, but Vikings' fans can exhale as Adam Schefter reports that the Former Lions OT Riley Reiff, is expected to sign with the Vikings.

Reiff, who is 28-years-old, was drafted by the Lions in the 2011 draft at pick 23. Yes, that is the same draft in which the Vikings took Matt Kalil number 3 overall.

The Vikings were reportedly in on former Baltimore Ravers guard Ricky Wagner, who ultimately decided to sign with the Detroit Lions. It has been an odd day for Vikings fans, as they have seen Punter Jeff Locke TE Rhett Ellison and Kalil sign deals with different teams.

Minnesota was also reportedly in on former Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, who actually decided to sign a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Yes, that tweet from Ian Rapoport is very true, as the Vikings just couldn't lock down Jeffery, who is looking to bet on himself long-term. He would have made the Vikings receiving corps, who already has Stefon Diggs and, hopefully, Adam Thielen, very dangerous.

The Vikings number one priority this off-season was to help the offensive line, and they did that by signing Reiff. It just so happens that they were looking at many different players to help the team grow and get better.
