Friday and Saturday were filled to the brim with local sports action on KFIL and KVGO Cool 104! Here are the results and award winners:

Friday Cool 104 had Girl's Basketball- Fillmore Central 28, Grand Meadow 36
Players of the Game were Kenzie Broadwater of FC and Jordyn Glynn of GM, and the Game Ball went to Rio Landers of GM.

The KFIL game featured boy's basketball with Fillmore Central defeating Lanesboro 69-57. Players of the Game were Carson Schwichtenberg of the Burros and Trace Tollefson of the Falcons. FC's Drew Tienter was awarded the Game Ball.

Saturday, Cool 104 double-dipped with Southland at Lyle/Pacelli. In the girl's contest, 7th- ranked Lyle/Pacelli won 58-25. Sydney Bendtsen of the Rebels and Sarah Holtz of the Athletics won the Player of the Game honors. The Game Ball went to Kristi Fett of L/P.
In the boy's contest, Southland come out on top 47-35. P-O-G's were Southland's Josh Anderson and Lyle/Pacelli's Noah Jiskra. James Landherr of the Rebels took the Game Ball.

On KFIL Saturday, there was much anticipation for #1 Minneapolis North vs. #4 Rushford-Peterson at the home of the Trojans. The top-ranked Polars traveled back to the metro area happy with a 61-45 win. Players of the Game were Matt Culhane of R-P and Isaac Johnson of North. The Game Ball went to Neil Courrier of the Trojans.

This week- we have a BIG girl's game tomorrow night with another top-five matchup. #5 Dover-Eyota visits #1 Plainview-Elgin-Millville. It's the first of their two meetings this year, both which will be on KFIL & kfilradio.com. Pregame tomorrow night is scheduled for 7:15pm. Friday we finish off January with boy's basketball- Kingsland at Chatfield, set for 7:15pm.
