It's been a year or more in the making.  Today, the "hooked on Preston" mural was mounted on its new home on the exterior of Preston City Hall.  The mural consists of 14 panels.  The mural artist, former Preston resident Alison Love Unzelman, outlined the drawing.  Preston residents met last summer at Christ Lutheran Church to paint the sheep, bicycles, fish and trees, much like a coloring book or paint by number.  Back to Alison.  She returned to her studio with the painted panels to fill in the details.  The end result is amazing.  I'm quite proud of the mural.  Not only because I sit on the board of the Preston Area Chamber of Commerce, but also because one of the sheep was painted by me!  Drive by Preston City Hall and check it out.  This outstanding work of art is a true testament to Preston Pride.  Wonderful job, Preston Area Arts Council, Alison and all budding artists who contributed their skills! All photos I Edwards, TSM.
