Police Memorial Vehicle Will Be at Ag Days

Fillmore County Sheriff Tom Kaase has received confirmation that the Thin Blue Line Memorial vehicle will be present during the cruise-in at Spring Valley A&W Drive-In Thursday, August 13, from 4 pm until 9 p.m.

According to Sheriff Kaase, this vehicle is a memorial to Minnesota  police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Memorialized on the vehicle are Fillmore County Deputy Walter Kruegel who lost his life in 1954; and Jason Meyer, Grand Meadow Police Officer who grew up in Spring Valley.
